Distribution of Accommodation Letters | Confidentiality | How to Navigate the Portal | Additional Resources | Get Started
Please review the information below carefully. Additional step-by-step instructions can be downloaded from the ALS website.
Students can choose one of two methods to distribute their accommodation letters:
- Request ALS to send their accommodation letter directly to faculty.
Accommodation letters for students who choose this method will appear on this web portal. You will receive an email notification each time a student submits a request, directing you to the portal to access their accommodation letters.
- Distribute their accommodation letter on their own.
Accommodation letters for students who choose this method will NOT appear on this web portal. These students may share their accommodation letters with you either as a printed copy or via email.
Accommodation letters are valid for the specified semester. There may be amendments to a student's accommodations during the semester, resulting in the generation of an updated accommodation letter. In such case, you may receive notification prompting you to review the updated letter.
More information regarding academic accommodation guidelines for faculty can be found on our website. If you have any concerns or questions regarding an accommodation letter, the Accessibility Consultant’s information is listed at the bottom of the letter.
